Navigating the World of Patient Concerns Pertaining to their Employer

Here is a little abstract on employer-patient concerns:

Disability discrimination in employment is a complex area of the law filled with many nuances. This talk focuses on some of the basics as well as specific issues which pertain to the treating physician of a plaintiff involved in such a case. These issues include, but are not limited to, the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, The Americans with Disabilities Act, The Family Leave and Medical Act, and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. The talk is intended to give physicians a better understanding of the framework that they are working within when a patient comes to them with employment issues.
